WACOSA helps people with disabilities achieve their goals and reach their potential throughout St. Cloud, Waite Park, Sauk Centre and surrounding areas. Our “Can Do” attitude means we respond to the needs and dreams of our consumers and deliver what they need to thrive in the community.
Join our “Can Do” Workforce.
We help people with disabilities prepare to work in the community and succeed in their careers. We offer training and community employment through individual placement or one of our “Can Do” crews. We assess our consumers’ skills and capabilities and help them explore their career options before matching them with a position or project. Our consumers may work at area employers or our production facilities in Waite Park and Sauk Centre.
We have partnered with more than 500 businesses to offer a broad range of employment opportunities that meet the needs and desires of all the individuals we serve. Our consumers receive the positive feedback and support they need to continue to grow as nationally and internationally recognized businesses commend them for their quality of work and “Can Do” attitude.
School to Work Transition Service
WACOSA, together with student's IEP (Individual Education Plan) Team develop a transition plan that is unique to the individual. WACOSA staff provide the training and support identified in the IEP in order to carry out a successful transition from school to work.
Services for Seniors
Services at Whitney Senior Center connect the seniors we serve with other people their age and help them remain active in the community. They have the opportunity to volunteer through the RSVP program, participate in classes or crafts or take day trips to a variety of events in the area.
